The nickname “Sean Taylor” is written across the top of the helmet, and Portis’ initials “CP” are featured on the bottom.

Clinton Portis was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and led the NFL in rushing in 2008. He spent eight seasons with the Commanders and holds several franchise records. Sean Taylor was a three-time Pro Bowl selection and was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2007. He was tragically killed in 2007 at the age of 24.
Both Portis and Taylor left an indelible mark on the Commanders franchise and the NFL. They were both known for their exceptional athleticism, leadership, and dedication to their community.
