The tour will commemorate the 20th anniversary of The Postal Service’s debut album, “Give Up,” and the 25th anniversary of Death Cab for Cutie’s debut album, “Transatlanticism.”

The Postal Service is an American indie pop duo consisting of Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie and Jimmy Tamborello of Dntel. The band released their debut album, “Give Up,” in 2003, which went on to sell over a million copies worldwide. The album is known for its sparse instrumentation and Gibbard’s introspective lyrics.
Death Cab for Cutie is an American indie rock band formed in Bellingham, Washington, in 1997. The band has released ten studio albums, including “Transatlanticism” in 2003. The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching the top ten on the Billboard 200 chart. “Transatlanticism” is known for its lush instrumentation and Ben Gibbard’s poetic lyrics.
The “Give Up Transatlanticism” tour will feature both The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie performing their respective albums in their entirety. The tour will also feature a special guest performance by Give Up Transatlanticism, a supergroup featuring members of both bands.
Tickets for the “Give Up Transatlanticism” tour will go on sale on Friday, October 28th, 2023. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.
